i'm not a big gambler (well, except for poker...and the occasional lottery ticket...and march madness brackets), but i am diligent in following through with the surveys listed on receipts at places like walgreens, walmart, target, chili's, taco bell, etc. i figure, hey, if i'm gonna give them my money, i might as well try to win some of it back, ya know?
anyway, i just filled one out for chili's, and upon reading the sweepstakes rules, i came across the following line:
If a potential winner is a Canadian resident, such person must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question prior to awarding of prize.
weird, huh? those crazy canucks make their citizens pony up some math skills before they can win money. here's the link if you want to read the rest.
