while reading comments on alt's blog, the point was made that pointless images and listless stories rarely elicit the same response as "abrasive, crude, and often personally attacking" the "big issues" of life and religion (especially Christianity, or the whatever it is we have now).
but, lo and behold, there is hope for those of you who (1) have meaningless, petty blogs with no readers, or (2)have meaningless, petty lives in which you only read my blog. your hope can be found on amazon in the form of a book entitled Blogging: Genius Strategies for Instant Web Content.
interestingly enough, i found the book on a blog dedicated to festivus. man i love seinfeld.

ha. while your sentiments were quite funny, i'm not sure you understood jessica's comments. she was observing that people ONLY respond to the meaningless, trite, impersonal, unthoughtful. she was noticing that, on both mine and taylor's sites, the most comments are always on the posts that have the least intellectual and the most meaningless content.
ah, my mistake. i think i was describing those particular posts as "intellectual" as viewed from the standpoint of the kiddos that comment on them. that is, to that which we describe as meaningless they often hold as meaningful. oddly enough, that is often christianity, or what some people hold it to be.
haha...yes, sadly enough you have nailed it. and actually were saying the same thing we were, just in reverse it would seem! congrats on the finishing of master's!! look forward to seein you at don's on thurs.
